You Feel Like Home
It's done, the Quell is gone. You promised her that when everything was over and done with you'd go to IKEA and pick out furniture for your new house, and so you did.
It's been a few months since, and in between birthday parties where you'd showcase your gift to children who delighted in the spark of magic you'd return home. She'd lay on your lap with her sketchbook and you'd run your fingers through her hair, humming a soft song as your own little way of telling her you love her.
