It's an alternate 1984, the Russian have invaded, and this time they didn't have to buy the President to do it. Maybe you're just biding your time, waiting for your moment to strike, perhaps you're a normal citizen, more concerned with staying alive than getting involved. Either way you've got a long wait ahead. Protracted battle and scheduled tank details have you pinned down for the foreseeable future, that is if the pop-music loving freedom fighters in the adjacent room don't give you away.
