The Power of Three
Oh yes, it’s Mikey’s. Definitely Mikey’s. While his brothers and Splinter may roam through picking at leftovers and the occasional snack, Mikey runs this room! And though his brothers all know him as the loud, affable, and excitable one, sometimes Mikey still needs a break from it all. At times he feels a bit overshadowed by his brothers, but he reminds himself that as the “youngest” his superpower is to be the best Mikey he can be, and thereby augmenting the others to make them the best they can be. They’re a team and he’s important to that team, to his family.
However, keeping moral high is a full-time job sometimes. Food helps! Pasta boils on one burner while paella simmers over another. Fresh veggies aren’t always the easiest to come by, living in the sewers and all, so when Mikey has the good stuff he tends to take his time and savor slicing and dicing everything just right. Of course, he can’t cook without the right tunes playing in the background to perfect his jam!
