Studying in Tar Valon
You're two pots of tea deep in studying some ancient lore in the grand library of The White Tower of Tar Valon. With the sound of the river Erinin distant through the stone walls, you hear the occasional librarian walking past or a Novice tentatively creaking open the doors. Rustling of parchment and the scratching of quills helps you focus, your studies intermittently broken by the customary sniff and sound of disapproval from the odd Aes Sedai if a Novice or Accepted doesn't curtsy fast enough, and of course, the smoothing of skirts as Aes Sedai readjust their seats. Wait, is that the tower bell tolling the hour? Where has the day gone?
