Somewhere in Time
In the 1980 film "Somewhere in Time" playwright Richard Collier stayed at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. While there, he encountered and fell in love with a photo of Elise McKenna, an actress who'd performed a play at the hotel in 1912. Convinced by a series of strange events that it was his destiny to be with her, he used self-hypnosis to travel back in time to when Elise was at the hotel. These are the sounds Richard would have heard as he traveled around the island, searching the past for the woman who would be his future.
Play this soundscape together with John Barry's wonderful film score for the ultimate "Somewhere in Time" atmosphere.
