Patrolling Camelot's Forest
As usual, Merlin and Arthur are out on some sort of patrol or quest, Merlin can't remember, he's just annoyed he got dragged along! They settle down for the night, and of course King Dollophead falls asleep by the campfire almost immediately, leaving Merlin to sit and watch over him, listening to his deep breathing, and the occasional owl. Arthur is safe, and smiling in his sleep. Merlin will never admit it to anyone, least of all Arthur, but these are some of the moments he cherishes the most.
