Night at the Museum
It's the end of a day in New York City, around 8 P.M. Even though it's pouring rain outside, you know the sun is about to go down. As you listen to the rain and the radio, you take notice of your new surroundings inside. You've just taken up the new night guard position at the Museum of Natural History. You're sitting behind the Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton at the reception desk, switching between a jazz station and a classical music station on the radio, and stirring your coffee. You'll need the coffee to keep yourself awake for your first shift. Larry Daley, another night guard, said the first shift is always the longest. He's currently walking around to the different exhibits and checking that he has all of his keys. Per his suggestion, you're currently writing down the museum's different exhibits and the things in them. By the end of your shift, you'll know where everything is, from the diorama room to the hall of African mammals. You wonder why you have to keep track of the museum's contents so closely. You're just looking to make $11.50 an hour. After all, a night guard's job isn't that exciting. Right?
