House of Leaves
Your footsteps echo through the labyrinth of dark, endless hallways and black, cavernous rooms. The oppressive darkness prowls around you, barely kept at bay by the bright (but tiny) light of your camcorder. As your heartbeat pounds in your ears, you can make out the voices of your suppressed memories, horribly and starkly amplified by the inky gloom.
There's something else as well...a distant slamming door? A not-so-distant growl? But that couldn't be. You're all alone down here...aren't you?
