Gormenghast -The Great Kitchen
The doors of the ovens are flying wide and acid flames leap dangerously. Hanging along the dripping walls, rows of sticking knives and steels glint from the light. Clusters of aproned figures mix and disengage. Some are singing. Some are arguing. And some are draped against the wall, quite silent from exhuastion.
