Castle Caladan has been the home to generations of Atreides Dukes and Duchesses. The calming sound of a fireplace to keep the room warm, the distant hum of the castle's ancient systems, the faint sounds of light rain against the ornate wooden windows, and the slightly creaky groan of the ancient floorboards as people pass through its unchanged rooms have filled the vast halls of this ancestral palace for as long as any of its residents——both noble-born and loyal servants——can remember.
