You sit by the window, the forest and brook bubbling on the other side of the cool glass. You can hear Esme rustling about in her kitchen, cooking you up a meal. Carlisle is at work, the other Cullens out hunting. The youngest Cullen son, Edward, keeps you company. You flip through your book, listening to him silently play the piano. All is calm.
