A Rainy Night at the Office
A quiet night is rare in your profession, but after all the hard work you three put into solving that last case, this one comes as a welcome break. Mac Doyle is at his desk typing up a report for the finished case, while Kitty Dupree leans against the file cabinet as she sorts through the backlog of case requests and unfiled records that have piled up in your absence. Every now and again she'll dash off a note on one of the files, the sound of her pen joining with Mac's typewriter to form a cozy harmony. You've kicked off your heels and commandeered one of the "guest" chairs, pressing the other into use as an impromptu footstool. With your legs stretched out and the case file accompanying the latest request for your services open on your lap, you let yourself be lulled by the sound of Kitty's heels and Mac's typing as you get absorbed in your trio's latest mystery...
