A Night Alone with Hale
Alone with Derek one night after a rough fight, he goes to bed early and you sit listening. You can hear his steady breathing as you read. Across the room, the radio is still playing soft, classical string music but Derek didn't turn it off and doesn't seem bothered--you leave it on. The storm outside is just the right distance to be heard, but not feared. It's easy to exist like this.
