A mermaid saved Cameron
She had saved him. He'd been out, foolishly thinking he could find her again, bring her back to land to be his wife, or beg her to make him one of them, when a squall blew up, his boat capsized, and he found himself drowning. After that, everything was black.Until now. When he found himself back on the beach, coughing up water,and wondering, (although he already knew) how he got there. He knew, because he could hear her, singing to him from across the sea.
